SpiSE Ltd’s requirements for its tutors are: i) a deep commitment to the subject s/he teaches; ii) knowledge of the syllabus and how it connects to the next level e.g. Primary to Secondary and Secondary to Tertiary etc; iii) research of the content and teaching methods to ensure that they meet students' needs; iv) critical analysis of CXC reports to guide their teaching.
SpiSE Ltd's directors are its Science tutors with 40+ years of teaching experience at primary, secondary and tertiary levels.
Timothy Gabriel, B.Sc is an exploration geologist who has worked for Texaco, Trinidad Tesoro, Trintopec, Petrotrin, Primera Oilfield Management Services and Niko Resources. He is a registered teacher who taught Biology, Integrated Science and Health Science at North Eastern College and UWI Extra Mural Department. His thorough understanding of Biology and teaching style means that it is now standard for his students to get a minimum of Grade 1 with 66.7% getting 1*.
Lucretia Gabriel, B.A., M.Agr.Sc., PhD is an analytical chemist and consultant who is perhaps best known for her social work with those at high risk of violence. As Projects Director of Scientific Information Services (SIS) Ltd she facilitates procurement for Caribbean development projects funded by the International Financing Institutions (IFIs). SIS Ltd provides multi-disciplinary teams to implement projects. She has all the requirements for an M.Phil in Educational Psychology and this is evident in her development of effective study, revision and examination techniques for SpiSE students. She teaches Primary Science and Physics and Chemistry for Form I -6.
